PROJECT GOALS: Recreate the site with a modern look and Responsive Design (Mobile-friendly). Help to effectively display city-specific data, collect thoughts from the community through polls, and provide access to the All Age Well Report.
Making a website that ages well:
This website redesign project for Age Well Boulder County (which runs in coordination with Boulder County Area Agency on Aging) was long overdue.
For an organization that is all about making sure we age well, their former site was not holding up: It was built with older technology (using HTML) and didn’t look good on all devices.
Their new WordPress-based site has responsive design (making it mobile-friendly), has a more modern look, and is easier for them to keep up with changes (with no coding required).
Plus, it got immediate results!
I’m getting a stream of emails from the contact form…some people requesting copies of the plan, others wanting to be more involved with the update, etc. (since sending the e-newsletter Wednesday) It’s exciting to start seeing some results from the web redesign!
