Thanks for the comments.

Yes, UniqueThink definitely stresses that clients need to add new content on a regular basis.

In fact, we give them solutions to do so. For instance, the one thing I like to state to every client is "When you get a phone call or an email and someone asks you a question you have been asked repeatedly, write a post about it!"

You can set up a FAQ category on your blog and each time a Frequently Asked Question is brought up, simply write a quick post explaining the answer for everyone. It not only helps you to add content, you can also point to it, the next time someone asks the same question.

When I do the live presentation of this Slideshow's WordPress Workshop, I definitely talk about Fresh, Relevant, Original Content, which is also mentioned in the slides, themselves.

Reviewing the slides isn't as helpful as being there live, but I do hope it does offer those who couldn't attend, a glimpse into the wonderful options of WordPress. And, I do offer this workshop throughout the year. So, feel free to either check back or sign up for more RSS feed, to find out when the next one will be held. Or, feel free to contact me for a complimentary 1-hr consultation, if that is easier.

Thanks for the notes, you are right on with your comments. As mentioned earlier, I agree and will repeat is again: it is important to add Fresh, Relevant, Original content frequently.

I think you should really stress that businesses who are going to use a blog for their website really NEED to make use of the dynamic content. If a company sets up a website with wordpress software, its about as useful as creating a static site if they don't actually make posts and update content on a regular basis.

I get a lot of clients who seem to think that because they read somewhere that blogs get great traffic and SEO all they have to do is set up a blog and some sort of magic is going to happen. A blog IS a website and if you don't maintain it, its not going to matter if your content is static or not, people won't continue going to a never updated website!
